So I guess it takes being in an Asian country half way across the world to fix our screwed up sleep cycle. We all woke up at 7am and had breakfast before 8am. Breakfast consisted of a sticky rice ball with pork inside (fan tuan) & fried bread inside a tortilla-like bread with sesame seeds-no resemblance to mexican food, thank god-(shao bing you tiao). Chris described it as BREADception (not his first joke attempting a play on words with the concept of inception, hopefully his last).
It's now around 10:30am and all three of us are showered & dressed (complete with make-up and hair dried). AND we even stopped by 7/11 to get coffee after breakfast. Pretty impressive!! And yes, I know we have to give some credit to the fact that it's 7pm in California right now and our bodies are probably a little jet-lagged, but I could get used to this whole early rising phenomenon. Can't wait for our first day in taipei :)
